Voucher Code Affiliates

Boohoo is no longer accepting new applications from affiliate sites with discount, cashback or loyalty codes.

All existing coupon code affiliates are expected to adhere to the following:

In light of recent developments related to the promotion of coupon codes on affiliate sites, boohoo is asking affiliates to adhere to the new guidelines of the Affiliate Marketing Council of the Internet Advertising Office (IAB AMC). Therefore, the terms and conditions of this affiliate program have been established to reflect these guidelines:

1. The use of "Click to Reveal" when there is no valid or current code is not allowed for affiliate publishers who use "Click to Reveal" to display promotions/offers/sales instead of vouchers.

2. Coupon code affiliate publishers must clearly detail the coupon offer that will be revealed by the click.

3. A valid code or promotion is defined as a code that has been legitimately issued by Boohoo for use by affiliates and not as a code that has been issued directly to consumers. This code or promotion will have an activation date and, where applicable, a deactivation date.

4. Coupon code directories should contain clear categorization and separation between deal/deal/sales and discount codes.

5. Awin check all sales made through the affiliate programme; where a promotion code is used, and the offer has not been communicated to affiliates to use, commission will be disqualified.

Any sale found to have been completed using a code not circulated to affiliates will have commissions declined.

 

Creative

Publishers may not alter any of the creative or text links available through the Awin interface. Publishers are also asked not to include banners on their sites, so updates made through Awin can take effect immediately.

Anyone found to be in breach of these terms will receive a warning and may have their fees reversed. We reserve the right to withhold commissions during this time. Continued violation of these terms will result in suspension.

Product data feed

The boohoo data feed with up-to-the-minute pricing information will be updated every day.

Affiliates are requested to make every effort to keep the most up-to-date boohoo pricing information in their promotions.

Full Terms and Conditions

Please note that failure to comply with these terms and conditions could result in the termination of your relationship and the cancellation of any commissions earned.

1. Pay-per-click search activity

Affiliates are not permitted to conduct any PPC search activity that drives traffic to Boohoo Uk, except by special agreement.

Affiliates who drive traffic to their own sites must also comply with the following rules.

To. Use of Boohoo brand term in the subfolder of the display URL (e.g. www.affiliate.com/boohoo) - Not allowed

b. Use of the Boohoo brand term in the subdomain of the display URL (e.g., www.Boohoo.affiliate.com) - Not allowed.

c. Use of the Boohoo brand or a misspelling of the Boohoo brand in the display URL (e.g. www.SBoohoo.com) or (www.booohooo.com) - Not allowed.

d. Use of the Boohoo brand in the ad title - Not allowed

and. Use of the Boohoo brand in ad copy - Allowed

f. Bid on the brand term "Boohoo" - Not allowed

g. Bid for misspellings or brand extensions (e.g. "Boohooss, SBoohoo, Boohool, Boohoo UK, Boohoo.com") - Not allowed.

h. Offer for the Boohoo brand + generic terms (e.g. "Boohoo Shoes") - Not allowed

i. Bid on the advertiser's URL www. Boohoo.com) - Not allowed

j. Show ads on competitor brands - Not allowed

k. Please note that affiliates are NOT allowed to bid on any variation of the Boohoo brand. Bidding on any brand sold on Boohoo is also not allowed.

l. Boohoo and common misspellings should be added as negative terms to all paid affiliate search campaigns.

2. Discount Code/Coupon Code Websites

 

As a rule, the use of all coupon codes must comply with the official IAB guidelines, found here:

To. Publishers may only use discount codes that have been supplied to them by Awin on behalf of Boohoo. Please ask Awin to obtain the authorised codes for the Boohoo programme.

b. Publishers must not display made-up discount codes on their site(s) or display discount codes that were intended to be used on other channels or for other online publishers.

c. Under no circumstances are publishers permitted to surreptitiously use i-frames to set Awin cookies on the user's computer.

d. Discount code publishers with websites that encourage users to "click here to reveal offer/code", thus setting an Awin cookie, can only use this feature if a coupon code exists for the Boohoo program. If a voucher code is not available for the Boohoo program, publishers should not use this method, as it leads to a poor user experience for potential Boohoo customers and can cause customer service issues.

and. If a discount code has been issued to publishers and has an expiration date, the publisher must clearly display on their website(s) the expiration date of this discount so that the user can decide if they want to go ahead and click on the publisher link.

f. If publishers want to keep expired discount codes on their sites for search engine optimization reasons, they must clearly notify the user that the discount has expired. This notification must be located right next to the expired discount code. The font size should not be smaller than the body text of the site(s) and the color used should contrast clearly with the background. It is not acceptable for the notification to be displayed at a significant distance from the expired code.

4. Email Marketing

To. All email marketing must be approved by Boohoo and the account management team.

5. Link

To. Publishers can link to a chosen offer or category on the boohoo site.

 

Affiliate Approvals

 

All affiliate sites are audited at the time of registration to ensure that any brand compliance issues that may exist are met. Any affiliate without a working URL will be rejected.

Validations

All commissions will be validated within a period of 35 days and boohoo.com reserves the right to claim a commission on all returned products.

Please note, 0% commission is paid on non Boohoo-branded products, including those promoted under other Boohoo Group brands or marketplaces such as PrettyLittleThing or boohooMAN.

Toolbar Affiliates

Boohoo does not accept or work with Toolbar affiliates.
