Welcome to the Decorating Centre Online Affiliate Program through Awin. By participating in this program, you agree to comply with the following terms and conditions.
1. Program Overview

2. Commission Structure
The commission structure is based on the type of affiliate:
- Voucher Sites: Affiliates from voucher/coupon sites will earn a 2% commission on net sales.
- Selected Publishers: Certain publishers, including content creators and product reviewers, may earn up to 7% commission on net sales.
Commissions are calculated based on net sales, excluding taxes, shipping, and returns. Affiliates will be notified of any changes to commission rates during special promotions.
3. PPC and Brand Bidding Policy
We have strict policies regarding pay-per-click (PPC) campaigns:
- PPC publishers are prohibited from bidding on brand terms related to Decorating Centre Online, including any variations, misspellings, or related keywords.
- Examples of prohibited terms include (but are not limited to) “Decorating Centre Online,” “DecoratingCentreOnline,” or any misspelled versions.
Violation of this policy will result in the cancellation of commissions and possible termination from the affiliate program.
4. Voucher Code Policy
To maintain the integrity of our promotions:
- Affiliates are not permitted to promote any voucher codes that have not been explicitly uploaded to the Awin network by Decorating Centre Online.
- Any sales driven by unauthorized voucher codes will result in the cancellation of commissions.
We reserve the right to audit and review any promotions involving voucher codes and will take necessary actions to ensure compliance.
5. Cookie Duration
Affiliates will benefit from a 30-day cookie window. This means that any customer who clicks on an affiliate link will be tracked for up to 30 days. If the customer makes a purchase within this period, the affiliate will earn a commission on the sale.
6. Promotional Guidelines
Affiliates are encouraged to promote Decorating Centre Online through various compliant channels, including but not limited to:
- Blog posts, articles, and product reviews
- Social media platforms (Instagram, Pinterest, Facebook, etc.)
- Banner ads on relevant websites
Email marketing must comply with GDPR and any other applicable data protection laws.
7. Prohibited Activities
The following actions are strictly prohibited and may result in termination from the affiliate program and forfeiture of unpaid commissions:
- Misleading promotions or false advertising
- Spamming or using unethical marketing techniques
- Promoting our products on websites containing offensive or inappropriate content
- Bidding on brand-related PPC terms (as mentioned in section 3)
- Promoting unauthorized voucher codes (as mentioned in section 4)
8. Payout and Payment Terms
Commissions will be paid via the Awin platform. Payments will be issued after reaching a minimum threshold of [£XX]. Payment is typically made on a monthly basis and may take up to 30 days to process after the end of the month.
9. Tracking and Reporting
All tracking of sales and commissions is managed through the Awin platform. Affiliates can access detailed reports to monitor the performance of their campaigns, including clicks, conversions, and earnings.
10. Regular Updates and Promotions
We will provide our affiliates with regular updates and promotions, including special deals and campaigns that may increase commission rates or offer additional incentives. Affiliates will receive notifications about these opportunities via email and through the Awin network.
11. Termination and Removal
Both parties may terminate this agreement at any time, with or without cause. We reserve the right to terminate affiliates who breach these terms or engage in activities that negatively impact the brand.
12. Compliance and Legal Requirements
Affiliates must comply with all relevant legal requirements, including but not limited to:
- GDPR for data protection and privacy
- FTC Disclosure Guidelines for transparent affiliate marketing (where applicable)
Affiliates must clearly disclose their affiliate relationship when promoting products.
