De-duplication & Attribution Policy
Picnic operates on a Last Paid Click attribution model to ensure fair and transparent rewards for our partners. To maintain accuracy across our various marketing channels, we utilize Adjust as our single "Source of Truth". How it works:
Last Click Wins: A commission is only attributed to an AWIN publisher if the affiliate link was the final paid touchpoint before the qualifying event.
Channel De-duplication: We de-duplicate AWIN conversions against other paid channels tracked in Adjust, including but not limited to:
Paid Search (Brand and Generic)
Paid Social (Meta, TikTok, etc.)
Display and Programmatic Advertising
Internal Email Marketing
Validation Logic: If a customer clicks an affiliate link but subsequently clicks a Picnic paid search ad or a social media ad before completing their purchase, the conversion will be attributed to the final channel and the affiliate commission will be declined.
Organic Traffic: We do not de-duplicate against direct app opens or organic search. If an affiliate drove the last paid click, they will receive the commission even if the user later returns to the app directly.
Transparency Note: By participating in the Picnic program, publishers acknowledge that Adjust data is the final authority for conversion validation. This ensures we can offer high, stacking commission rates for genuine incremental growth.
