PLAYALUXE BRANDING GUIDELINES

BRAND NAME USAGE

  • Correct Brand Name: Always use PLAYALUXE in written content. The brand name should always be spelled correctly and capitalized, when possible. 
  • Incorrect Brand Name Examples: Avoid using “Playa Luxe”, “Playa Lux” other variations. Do not abbreviate the brand name or exclude letters. 

LOGO USAGE

  • Official Logo: Affiliates should use the official PLAYALUXE logos provided in the affiliate portal. Ensure the logo is used as provided without alterations, including color changes, resizing that distorts proportions, or removing elements. 
  • Size and Placement: Logos must maintain proper resolution and proportions when resized. They should be prominent but not overpower other elements in creative materials.
  • Background Restrictions: Do not place the logo on busy or clashing backgrounds that reduce legibility.

TONE AND MESSAGING

Brand Tone: PLAYALUXE embodies a fun, bold, sexy, and fashion-forward vibe with an eco-friendly edge. Affiliates should reflect this tone in all written and visual content.

Do's:

  • Use language that promotes bold fashion choices, sustainability, inclusivity, and the endless summer lifestyle.

Don'ts:

  • Avoid using bland or generic descriptions that don’t reflect PLAYALUXE's adventurous spirit.
  • Do not associate the brand with environmentally unfriendly practices or messages that contradict its sustainability ethos.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTIONS

  • Affiliates should use official product descriptions provided by PLAYALUXE or ensure descriptions match the tone of the brand. Descriptions should focus on sustainability, bold designs, fashion-forward aesthetics, and size inclusivity.
  • Avoid generic terms; instead, emphasize specific details about eco-friendly materials, vibrant colors, and inclusivity.

PHOTOGRAPHY AND CREATIVE ASSETS

  • High-Quality Images: Affiliates must use only high-quality, pre-approved images of products. These images should be available in the affiliate portal, and no other images may be used without express permission.
  • Contextual Use: Use lifestyle imagery where possible, focusing on travel, beach, and adventure themes. Avoid using the products in non-relevant or inappropriate settings.
  • UGC Integration: If using User-Generated Content (UGC), ensure that the content aligns with PLAYALUXE's brand identity and aesthetic.

SOCIAL MEDIA GUIDELINES

  • Hashtags: Use the official brand hashtag #playaluxe in social posts. Do not create unauthorized variations of the brand hashtag.
  • Tagging: Always tag @playaluxe in social media posts, ensuring that the brand gets proper visibility and credit in affiliate-driven content.
  • Content Tone: Follow the brand tone when promoting PLAYALUXE on social media platforms: fun, adventurous, eco-friendly, sexy and bold.

RESTRICTED ACTIVITIES

  • No Competitor Comparisons: Affiliates are prohibited from making direct comparisons to competitors in a way that may mislead customers or diminish the PLAYALUXE brand.
  • No Negative Publicity: Affiliates may not use any content that portrays the brand negatively or promotes products in a way that is inconsistent with PLAYALUXE's image and values.

COMPLIANCE WITH PAID SEARCH AND PPC GUIDELINES

  • Affiliates should follow the paid search guidelines outlined in the earlier sections of your program. This includes restrictions on bidding for brand terms or variations and proper usage of negative keywords.

ADDITIONAL NOTES

  • Approval for Custom Content: Any custom content, such as blog posts or product reviews, should adhere to these guidelines and may need approval before publication.
