Terms and Conditions for Participation in the Trotec Partner Program (Effective January 2025)
In addition to the general terms and conditions of the affiliate network, the following terms and conditions apply to our partner program:
1. Partner Admission
Admission as a partner may be revoked at any time without prior notice.
The partner guarantees not to place advertising materials on websites that display, link to, or associate with the following content: politics, erotica, pornography, defamation, xenophobia, weapons, violence, glorification of violence, drugs, or other content that is legally prohibited.
2. Exclusion of Partners
The exclusion of partners is reserved, especially in cases of violations of applicable law or the stipulations of Section 1.
3. Copyright, Naming, and Trademark Rights
Partners must respect the copyright and trademark rights of TROTEC GmbH.
The use of provided advertising materials is only permitted within the framework of the partner program. The name "TROTEC" or any word combinations containing this name may not be used in the page header, as a domain name, or in META tags. This also applies to words or descriptions that are spelled similarly to or sound like "TROTEC."
4. Coupons and Coupon Partners
Only coupon or reward codes approved for the partner program (see advertising materials) may be used. Coupons from newspapers, magazines, special, or exclusive offers are excluded from use. They may not be published online, advertised, or communicated on partner websites without prior written approval from TROTEC.
5. Restrictions on SEA
The following is not permitted regarding search engine advertising (SEA):
- Advertising the Trotec website on search engine advertising spaces, sponsored links, paid advertisements, keyword advertising, or keyword targeting (e.g., Google Ads) on other platforms (e.g., Google, Yahoo, Bing).
- Using the terms "www.trotec.com," "Trotec GmbH," etc., or misspellings of these in the ad text or headline.
- Bidding on the keyword "Trotec" and any combinations such as "Trotec GmbH" with words like "coupon," "coupons," "discount code," "shop," "at," and similar spellings or misspellings.
- Partners must set "negative broad" matching for the keyword "Trotec" and its variants in all their AdWords campaigns, excluding any combination bookings.
- Advertising Trotec products via Google Shopping is only permitted with prior approval from TROTEC GmbH.
- Integration of Trotec product data into Google Merchant Center is prohibited.
- Publishers may not promote Trotec using accounts on online platforms (e.g., Twitter, Instagram) with usernames containing the term "Trotec" or misspellings thereof.
6. Advertising Materials
Only advertising materials provided by TROTEC may be used. Any modification of images or texts requires explicit approval from TROTEC.
7. Postview Advertising
Promoting the TROTEC partner program via postview advertising (setting a TROTEC cookie upon ad display) is prohibited. All sales generated through this method will be canceled.
8. Liability
Partners shall indemnify TROTEC GmbH from any claims by third parties arising due to the conduct attributable to the partners.
Without prejudice to statutory claims for injunctions, damages, and other remedies, TROTEC GmbH reserves the right to impose a contractual penalty of €10,000 for each infringement of competition law, copyright, naming, or trademark rights.
