The Outlet Shop

Terms and Conditions

Payment

Commissions are paid on the basket value of the order once VAT, discounts, and delivery have been removed. The Outlet Shop does not pay commissions on any financial service products, which includes, but is not limited to, warranties, credit cards, or insurance products.

Commissions are paid on gross dispatches; this refers to any items that leave The Outlet Shop’s warehouse. If an order does not leave the warehouse for any reason, such as being out of stock, it will not qualify for a commission. These orders will be tracked as pending until The Outlet Shop cross-references tracked sales with their internal data sources to clarify the status of the order.

Commissions are only paid on sales from affiliates, adverts, or campaigns that meet the minimum requirements specified in The Outlet Shop's terms and conditions. Any activity that results in a sale that does not meet these requirements will be rejected.

Commissions are paid on last-click sales only. With the exception of ‘Direct to URL,’ a sale involving an affiliate click will be rejected if a click from another The Outlet Shop marketing channel follows the affiliate click.

Commissions are only paid on sales in which both Awin and The Outlet Shop are able to drop a cookie. Any sales tracked by any other method are not recognized by The Outlet Shop and cannot be rewarded via commission. It is the affiliate’s responsibility to ensure the traffic they refer can be tracked via both Awin and The Outlet Shop prior to setting live a campaign for The Outlet Shop. The Outlet Shop will not consider any applications for compensation post-campaign due to sales tracked in alternative ways.

The Outlet Shop does reward cross-device transactions irrespective of the position of the affiliate click in the customer journey. Cross-device transactions will only be considered using the Awin cross-device tracking product; any other product is not recognized by The Outlet Shop.

The Outlet Shop’s affiliate program operates on a 30-day cookie window. As long as a click from another marketing channel does not follow your click, you will be rewarded for transactions that occurred up to 30 days after your click took place.

Commission Structure

It is the preference of The Outlet Shop to build bespoke commission deals with each publisher. However, we do have general rates; if you do not wish to have those conversations, please see the commission tab for details on the commission structure.

Compliance

The Outlet Shop wants to ensure no customer is misled or served inaccurate information upon buying into any of our financial service products. The Outlet Shop takes this very seriously and, as a result, does not allow for the promotion of these products across the affiliate channel. Without written permission from The Outlet Shop, no affiliate has the right to promote any of The Outlet Shop’s financial service products. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • 3 months
  • BNPL (Buy Now Pay Later)
  • Monthly payments
  • Split the cost
  • Spread the cost

Any affiliate found to be promoting a financial service product without permission will have 24 hours to remove any reference to it, or they will be removed from the program and have all commissions for the period the advert was live declined. If you are unsure of what constitutes a financial service product or you are unsure about what you have permission to promote, please get in touch.

No affiliate has permission to alter any existing creative or produce their own creative to promote The Outlet Shop brands in any of their communication methods. The Outlet Shop is willing to consider briefs from affiliates to produce compliant creative in-house. However, all briefs must be submitted 14 days in advance of the campaign going live; otherwise, it will not be possible for The Outlet Shop to support. Affiliates may put live banners, copy, links, and other forms of creative if they send them to The Outlet Shop for approval in advance. Affiliates must give The Outlet Shop 7 days' notice to turn around approvals. Any affiliate found to be using creative that has not been either produced or approved by The Outlet Shop will have 24 hours to remove it or risk being removed from the program and having commissions declined for the period.

The Outlet Shop operates a strict two-strikes rule whereby if an affiliate is found to be hosting non-compliant content more than twice in three months, they will face immediate suspension.

All affiliates running a planned The Outlet Shop campaign or advert must feature an end date. If the affiliate does not feature the end date, any tenancies or commission increases will be reversed, and the campaign will be canceled immediately.

A product data feed is provided with the most accurate pricing available every day through the Awin interface. This is uploaded and refreshed every day at 04:00, 10:00, 15:00, and 21:00 (UTC/GMT).

Affiliates are requested to make every effort to maintain the most current pricing information in their promotions.
