Exclusions
No commission will be paid on:
- Gift cards
- Pre-order & Made-to-Order products
- Shipping costs, duties and taxes
- Cancelled or returned orders
- Wholesale, employee and PR/press orders
- Orders using unauthorised voucher or discount codes
- Media or employee benefit discount codes
Pre-Orders & Made-to-Order Policy
As a fine jewellery brand, certain pieces are offered on a pre-order or made-to-order basis. These transactions are excluded from the Affiliate Programme. Commission will not be paid on any pre-order or made-to-order sales, regardless of fulfilment status.
PPC Policy
- Commissions will not be paid where there is evidence of any paid search activity on brand terms without prior authorisations. This includes permutations, misspellings and broad matches containing brand terms (generic is fine).
- Performance Max activity should not be set up and could result in 0 commission and suspension from the programme if this activity is found in place.
- PPC bidding restrictions also apply on Google Shopping/CSS (Comparison Shopping Service please see CSS Partners for more information).
We request the brand keywords stated below to be excluded from all CSS activity.

Affiliates breaching PPC policy risk immediate suspension and commissions being set to zero.
CSS Partners
All CSS partners who join the programme need to have the approval from BY PARIAH before beginning bidding otherwise commission may be declined and you may be suspended from the programme.
- Please ensure you are using Awin product feeds only & not scraping the BY PARIAH website.
- Only standard shopping activity to be used by CSS partners with brand terms negatively matched in adherence to program terms.
Discount Codes
- Affiliates may only promote voucher or discount codes supplied directly by By Pariah or via By Pariah AWIN Programme.
- Any unauthorised or expired codes must be removed or clearly marked as expired.
- Sales tracked with unauthorised codes will not be commissionable.
Deduplication
Affiliate sales are deduplicated against the following channels:
- PPC Brand / Generic
- Email Advertising
- Direct Partnerships
- Display & Retargeting
- Price Comparison
- Other Affiliate Networks
Social Content Creators
All social affiliate activity must comply with ASA and AWIN guidelines.
By Pariah reserves the right to withhold commission for non-compliance.
Subnetworks
All subnetwork traffic must be transparent:
- Partner URLs must be passed in the clickref field, or
- Referring URLs must be provided in the Publisher URL field.
Failure to disclose originating publishers may result in removal from the programme.
Data Protection & GDPR Compliance
Publisher Responsibility:
- All Publishers must comply with applicable data protection and privacy laws, including the UK GDPR, EU GDPR (where relevant), and the UK Data Protection Act 2018.
- Publishers are responsible for ensuring that any data they collect or process (e.g. through cookies, tracking technologies, or forms) is done lawfully, with appropriate consent where required. Guidance can be found in AWIN’s Publisher Guidance on GDPR and Consent.
Use of Data:
- Publishers must not collect, use, or disclose any customer personal data obtained through the Programme for purposes other than reporting and commission attribution within AWIN.
- Publishers are expressly prohibited from attempting to access, copy, or use By Pariah customer data for their own marketing or for third parties.
Tracking & Cookies:
- Any use of cookies, pixels, or tracking technologies by Publishers must be disclosed to end users and comply with applicable consent requirements.
- Publishers must not implement non-compliant or intrusive tracking methods (e.g. cookie stuffing, hidden iframes). For further details, Publishers should review Awin and the GDPR.
Breach & Liability:
- Non-compliance with GDPR or data protection laws will be treated as a material breach of these Terms and may result in suspension or removal from the Programme.
- By Pariah reserves the right to audit Publisher compliance and to terminate relationships where breaches are identified.
