House of Fraser award their commission on a multi-attributed basis.
The model has been constructed after detailed analysis into customer journeys. House of Fraser found that customers who spent a longer time on site generally had a higher AOV.
This has led to the new model being attributed by engagement so you will have more of the transaction value attributed to you if you direct the customers that spend a longer period of time on site.
Please see the below journey as an example:
Publisher 1: Directs a customer who spends 30 minutes on site before leaving Publisher 2: The customer then returns to the House of Fraser site via another publisher and then spends 10 minutes on site and then purchases
Publisher 1 will receive 75% of the total commission and Publisher 2 will receive 25% of the total commission.
Other channels will also be included in this attributed model. However, brand search and direct to site will not be included.
Due to the attribution model assists and total influence will not be displayed on the Darwin interface.
