About The Founders
Troubadour is the brainchild of Samuel Bail and Abel Samet, two colleagues who became friends after bonding over a deep love of endurance sports, clean lines and (some might say) obsessive attention to detail.
For years, they searched in vain for the perfect overnight work bag. Something refined enough for business trips, but rugged enough for weekend getaways with friends.
They couldn’t find it. So they created it.
In 2011 they set off on an 18-month odyssey around Europe, tracking down the finest materials and makers: artisans, leather tanners, fabric weavers, zip makers.
They had found their true calling: making bags and accessories that are engineered to perform brilliantly.
