Terms and Conditions
SEA LIFE will always aim to give as much notice as possible should any changes which affect affiliates and the affiliate programme occur in the future.
All transcation queries MUST include the name of the attraction for which the query applies - without this information in the description transaction queries will not be processed.
Use of Voucher Codes
Affiliates may only promote codes that are provided through the SEA LIFE affiliate programme (either from the Affiliate Management Team or from Sealife.co.uk /or visitsealife.com directly).
SEA LIFE reserve the right to withhold payment of commission if non-authorised voucher codes are used in an affiliate sale.
Where voucher codes are issued with an expiry date this should be clearly displayed and codes should be removed or explicitly marked as expired after this date unless you are advised otherwise.
Any affiliates displaying expired codes without marking them as being expired may be suspended from the programme.
Any affiliate consistently presenting apparent offers from SEALIFE that do not exist will not be paid commission for their activity. This applies in particular to the promotion of discount or voucher codes where relevant.
Affiliates will not be paid for such activity if:
(a) In our opinion the implication of the affiliate promotion is that we do have discount or voucher codes when we do not;
(b) In our opinion the intention of the promotion is to drop cookies, rather than promoting our business in a constructive way.
This measure is designed to protect our business from disappointed customers and to protect affiliates who are genuinely trying to promote our business. It should be emphasised that these terms are aimed at stopping any consistent misrepresentation of our business.
Affiliates will not be paid commission for any activity which contravenes these guidelines.
Email Marketing Campaigns
Affiliates promoting SEA LIFE through email marketing must contact the Affiliate Team for sign off.
Use of Trademark
Affiliates require clearance from SEA LIFE on draft proofs of any copy that is to appear in any offline communication including and not limited to press campaigns.
Affiliates may not put the SEA LIFE website into frames or use masked URLs.
These Terms and Conditions are applicable on any ad platform, including, but not limited to search engines, content networks and social networking ad placements.
In order to avoid any broadmatching issues, affiliates must add SEA LIFE, SEALIFE, Sealife.co.uk and visitsealife.com as negative keywords in all paid search activity. Affiliate are also not permitted to bid on brand terms plus generic these include but are not limited to Sea Life Voucher Codes, Seal Life discount codes or Sea Life Birmingham.
All SEA LIFE™ PPC affiliates must adhere to the following:
Affiliates are not permitted to bid on any of our trademarks and key words within paid search activity or terms containing these key words: SEALIFE.co.uk and / or SEA LIFE [location]
Affiliates are not permitted to bid on misspells or variations of our brand names & keywords within paid search activity. Examples: SEALIFEeurope.com, SEALIFE.co.uk, etc
Affiliates are not permitted to bid on hybrid terms that contain our brand name (including misspells and variations) within paid search activity. Examples: SEALIFE.co.uk deals, SEALIFE.co.uk offers, SEALIFE.co.uk tickets etc.
Affiliates are not allowed to use any sites or landing pages that represent themselves or pass themselves off as SEALIFE.co.uk or take any action that is likely to mislead third parties to believe such a site is the SEALIFE.co.uk site.

2.2 Ad Copy Restrictions
Affiliates are not permitted to use our brand name within their ad title for paid search activity
Affiliates are not permitted to use savings messages or prices within their ad title for paid search activity. Examples: £3off, 10% savings, 2 4 1 etc..
Affiliates are not permitted to use savings messages, which are untrue or mislead the customer into thinking that it is cheaper to buy a ticket anywhere other than SEALIFE.co.uk. Examples: best price guarantee, cheapest tickets online, best discounts etc..
Affiliates are permitted to use our brand name within their ad copy for paid search activity
Affiliates are permitted to direct link by using our official URL as the display URL within their ad copy
2.3 Domain Restrictions
Affiliates are not permitted to use domains containing our brand name (including misspells and variations) within paid search activity. Examples: www.sealifeguide.co.uk , www.sealifevouchers.org, etc.
Affiliates are permitted to use our brand name (including variations) within the sub folders of their domains for paid search activity. Examples: www.affiliatesite.co.uk/sealifescarborough, www.affiliatesite.com/sealifebirminghamdeals etc..
Affiliates are not permitted to use our brand name (including misspells and variations) as a sub domain of their own domains for paid search activity. Examples: www.sealife.affiliatesite.com, www.sealife.affiliatesite.co.uk, www.sealifeweymouth.affiliatesite.tv, sealifeweymouth.affiliatesite.biz etc.
2.4 Pop-ups, pop-unders & iframes
Any pop-up, pop-under or iframes that are used to force the cookie onto the users browser are entirely unacceptable.
3. Affiliate Restrictions.
3.1 Types of affiliates not allowed to work with SEALIFE™
As SEALIFE is a trusted brand we will not accept any sites that will be detrimental to our brand by association.
The following is a non exhaustive list of the type of affiliate content, which is not acceptable if you are a SEA LIFE affiliate partner:
Sites that contain or link to sexually explicit material and/or language
Sites that contain or promote any form of violence, gambling and/or illegal activities
Sites that contain discrimination against race, sex, religion, nationality, sexual orientation, age or which otherwise may bring our brand into disrepute
Sites that may infringe the intellectual property or other rights of SEA LIFE™
Anyone found infringing on these terms will be contacted by the SEA LIFE Affiliate Team. Please note anyone found contravening the T&C’s may have their commissions declined and face suspension from the programme. In extreme circumstances SEA LIFE reserve to right to immediately suspend any affiliates found contravening these terms and conditions, declining any commissions accrued from the activity.
