Color Wow Affiliate Program Terms & Conditions
By joining the Color Wow affiliate program, (Program) publishers agree to comply with Color Wow’s following Program terms in addition to the AWIN network terms and conditions.
Commission Structure
Color Wow offers a standard base commission rate of 5%. Eligible content publishers may receive enhanced commission rates at Color Wow’s discretion.
Commission is calculated on the order subtotal excluding VAT, shipping charges and any additional fees.
The Program operates on a 30-day cookie window and last click attribution model.
Commission Exclusions
Commission will not be paid on:
- Cancelled orders
- Refunded or returned orders
- Fraudulent transactions
- Employee purchases
- Bulk or wholesale orders
Color Wow reserves the right to reverse commissions retrospectively where transactions are found to breach of these terms or involve fraudulent or non-compliant activity.
Publisher Types
The following publisher types are permitted:
- Cashback websites
- Coupon and deal websites
- Loyalty and reward platforms
- Bloggers and editorial content publishers
- Approved subnetworks
- Approved email, SMS and notification publishers
The following publisher types are prohibited unless expressly approved in writing by Color Wow:
- Social-first influencer affiliates
- TikTok and Instagram creator affiliates
- PPC/search affiliates
- Browser extensions and toolbars
- Display and retargeting affiliates
- Traffic & Promotional Restrictions
Publishers may not:
- Use pop-ups, toolbars or technology that overwrites affiliate tracking
- Deploy automatic cookie drops or cookie stuffing techniques
- Inject promotional codes at checkout via browser extensions or software
- Make misleading attribution claims
- Use deceptive promotional methods or misleading calls-to-action
Coupon Code Policy
Publishers may promote publicly available coupon codes and approved exclusive publisher codes only.
Leaked, private or unauthorised discount codes are strictly prohibited.
Expired offers or codes must be removed promptly unless a clear expiration date is displayed alongside the promotion.
“Click to reveal” functionality is permitted provided it is not misleading and does not artificially force clicks or tracking activation.
Creative & Brand Usage
All creative assets, imagery, copy and branding remain the property of Color Wow.
Publishers may only use approved creative assets supplied directly by Color Wow or otherwise approved in writing.
Creative assets may not be altered, edited or modified without prior approval.
Use of the Color Wow brand name, logos or trademarks within paid media, display creative or promotional materials requires prior written approval.
Publishers may not:
- Misrepresent themselves as Color Wow
- Operate websites or social accounts designed to impersonate the brand
- Register domains, handles or pages containing the Color Wow brand name without approval
Email & Messaging Activity
Approved publishers may distribute affiliate promotions through newsletters, SMS, push notifications or similar messaging channels, provided all activity complies with applicable UK laws and platform regulations.
Publishers are solely responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable data protection, privacy and marketing legislation.
Prohibited Content
Color Wow reserves the right to reject or remove publishers appearing on or associated with:
- Adult content websites
- Gambling websites
- Hate speech or extremist content
- Fake news or misinformation websites
- Malware, spyware or adware websites
- AI-generated spam content farms
- Any website or platform deemed damaging to the Color Wow brand
Compliance & Termination
Color Wow reserves the right to:
- Decline any publisher application at its discretion
- Request removal or amendment of promotional activity
- Suspend or terminate publisher relationships immediately for breach of these terms
- Reverse commissions generated through non-compliant activity
Failure to comply with these terms may result in removal from the Program and forfeiture of unpaid commissions.
Communication
All Program communication, approvals and compliance discussions should be conducted through the AWIN platform unless otherwise specified by Color Wow.
Governing Law
These terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom.
